PNW Gardeners! The Wise Gardener Book Group is a group of gardening nerds and those inspired by gardens and nature. All are welcome! Each month encompasses a gardening ‘theme’ with several curated books to choose from – or bring your own! Come join us at the Clinton Community Hall to learn from each other and the books and resources we share. This is the LINK to the suggested booklist and will change monthly. Led by Kathryn O’Brien, staff member at the Clinton Library. Kathryn has degrees in Ornamental Horticulture and Sustainable Agriculture Education. Link to book list

Sno-Isle Libraries: Beyond the Symphony Instruments from Recycled Materials

11am-1pm at the Clinton Community Hall

Don’t throw that away! Instead use it for art! We’ll repurpose clean, reusable materials into instruments that make sounds as unique as us. Tubes, coffee cans, small boxes become music to our ears. Families will design their own sound and look of these one-of-a-kind instruments. We’ll end by playing our tune to celebrate the Earth!

The Clinton Community Hall is a non-profit, community-supported organization located on the south end of Whidbey Island, near the Clinton Ferry.

The hall is used for social activities, community services, discussion of community issues, and uses fostering community-based businesses and other activities providing benefit to the Clinton community. Clinton Community Hall is a 501(c)(3) organization.
