Rental Details
Thank you for renting the Clinton Community Hall for your event. Below are some additional details you may find helpful. If you have questions, please contact us via email.
Frequently-asked questions
How do I access the Hall?
You received a code for the front-door lock via email with your rental confirmation. This code is unique to you and valid for the dates/times you have rented the Hall.
Can I tour the facility before my rental?
Absolutely. Please send us an email and we will work with you to find a date/time for a tour. Be sure to include your rental date and your preferred contact information. Please allow up to a few days for us to get back to you. We recommend reaching out more than a week before your rental; for last-minute requests we will do our best to accommodate, but may not always be able to.
Can I set up before my rental timeframe, or clean up afterwards?
No, the timeframe you booked is the amount of time you have to use the Hall. Our rates and availability for other activities is based on what you initially booked. If you need to extend your timeframe, please reach out to us and we will see if we can accommodate the change. Note that any extension may increase the rental fees owed.
Is there a cleaning service I can book for after my event?
We recommend Blue Ribbon Cleaning Company. Please be sure they are booked within the timeframe of your rental.
How many parking spaces are available at the Hall?
Depending on how efficiently cars are parked, you can expect to fit at least 25-30 vehicles in our parking lot. Please do not park in the private lot behind the Clinton Community Hall (posted as a no parking area).
Where is overflow parking located?
The Clinton Park & Ride lot is located at the corner of Hwy 525 and Deer Lake Road, near the Clinton Post Office (Google Maps |Apple Maps). Please do not park in the private lot behind the Clinton Community Hall (posted as a no parking area). See parking map below for more details.
Are there more details on the Hall layout, and on how tables can be arranged?
See the layout document below, which you can download and print. It shows the number & sizes of available tables at scale.
Can we serve alcohol?
Renters are responsible for determining their compliance with state regulations. Our rental agreement states: “Alcohol is permitted, however the Renter is responsible for determining if they are required to have a Banquet permit. Caterers and vendors of alcohol may post their Class 1 license in lieu of a banquet permit. No alcohol permitted outside of the building. No minors are to be served or allowed to drink in the hall.” For further information & permit requirements from the State of Washington, visit: lcb.wa.gov/licensing/special-licenses-and-permits
Do I need insurance for my event?
Insurance is not required, but is recommended depending on your event. Search for event insurance similar to this offering from GEICOor contact a local insurance broker such as Craven Insurance. Renters assume all liability for damage or injury during their rental.
What are cleaning expectations?
We work to keep our facility in excellent condition, so that all renters start with a clean space. Renters are responsible for thoroughly cleaning after each rental event. If the Hall is not thoroughly cleaned by Renter, we charge a minimum $100 cleaning fee. Any damage or cleaning that is required will be deducted from the security deposit. If the cleaning or damage exceeds $250, the renter will be expected to pay the difference. If garbage or recycling is left behind by renter, deposit will be forfeit. If hall is left in satisfactory condition after the event, the full deposit will be mailed to the renter within five (5) business days. See Renter's Exit Checklist below for cleaning guidelines after your event.
