Landscape update: more than 90 new plants

We’ve previously shared progress on our landscaping expansion project in front of the Hall, along Highway 525. We’re happy to report that as of April 2026 we’ve installed more than 90 new plants in this area!

This expansion project is supported by a grant from the Whidbey Island Garden Tour and by Hall funds & volunteer time. The South Whidbey Garden Club generously made a small donation to help pay for mulch in the area.

Next steps: we will be working to transition from a sprinkler system to drip irrigation to ensure we are using water wisely. Additional plants will also be installed over time, as needed.
